People define living naturally in a plethora of ways. For some people, it may be living off-the-grid in a solar powered home, for others, it may mean choosing to eat organic food over conventional food. For me, it is the pursuit of making healthy, informed choices for my family, lessening my impact on the environment, and helping to create a happy, sustainable home.
I created this site as a way to quench my thirst for knowledge on natural living practices, and to share what I learn to help others see that sustainable living can be achieved by everyone.
I chose The almost Natural Mama because I’m not perfect, I don’t eat organic 100 percent of the time, I drive a gasoline powered car, and all of my clothes aren’t from sustainable, renewable companies. But, that doesn’t mean that I am not paying attention to those things and working to lessen my impact on the environment and make better choices for my health.
Thanks for joining me in this exploration, and I hope you find something here that inspires and motivates, that educates and informs, and helps you decide to make changes and big (or little!) impacts on the world.
